When a cocoon closes on a friend,

Because the caterpillar fears,

That this coffin is the end?

Could a caterpillar ever look up?

To see and know

Its destiny,

Or is the reality of the butterfly,

Unknown to the caterpillar?

God’s spiritual purposes,

And the meaning and value of our lives,

Exceed our intellectual capacity to understand,

And these purposes,

Transform us spiritually,
